White Sangria, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village

Recipe created by Paulette Lambert, R.D., CDE, Director of Nutrition at California Health & Longevity Institute.

1 oz TRU Organic Vodka (Monrovia, CA)
2 oz Semler Sauvignon Blanc (Malibu, CA)
Sliced Tamai Farm Strawberries (Oxnard, CA)
1/2 oz grapefruit juice from Bernard Ranches (Riverside, CA)
1/2 oz orange juice from Bernard Ranches (Riverside, CA)
1/2 oz lemon juice from Limoneira Lemons (Santa Paula, CA)
Fresh-picked garden mint for garnish (Westlake Village, CA)
1/2 oz Housemade Simple Syrup
Soda water

1. Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake well and roll into a footed cocktail glass.

2. Top with soda water and garnish with sliced, local citrus and fresh-picked garden mint.

Tip from Paulette: “This Sangria recipe maximizes the fruit content and adds a new twist, using a white wine, instead of the traditional reds. It’s perfect for our warm, Southern California climate and a refreshing drink to serve at a backyard BBQ this summer.”
